Don’t Miss this Night
About a year ago, I was feeling a void, feeling no love, like I had nothing left to give. One thing I knew was I did not have the self sufficiency to run this race alone. My sister invited me to Church and I went. Three years earlier, my sister and nieces gave their heart to the Lord. On my second visit, I received the greatest gift of all. I gave my heart to the Lord and I was filled with the Holy Spirit. It was an amazing feeling. The weight I had carried with me was lifted. My focus was now on Him. Three months after I gave my heart to the Lord, I lost my sister and her two daughters in a single car accident.
Even though this was most devastating, God blessed me far greater then I had expected. I’ve seen blessing after blessing. Others that I know started to attend church on a regular basis and they also gave their heart to the Lord. . I also received His unconditional love that lifted me when I was weak. My faith in Him and His love for me gives me strength and peace.
“The Lord is my strength and song, and He has become my salvation; He is my God, and I will praise Him”. Exodus 15:2 NIV
For the struggles our life will make us stronger, continue to walk in faith, love your family, don’t dwell on the past, look forward to the future as you never know when it will end.
God Bless,
Beth
I had being job hunting for two years and had no success. I have been to all the places that I thought I could be employed and met all those “big people” that could easily get me a job by only appending their signature on my documents but all these failed.
Simply because I took my eyes off God and looked to man. Now I say to the glory of God that when I stopped and looked to God, God gave me one of the best prestigious establishments in Ghana. Always look to God; “Trust in the LORD, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness, Delight yourself also in the LORD, and He shall give you the desires of your heart.

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come”
(2 Corinthians 5:17, NIV)
Talk about opportunity. Herod had the greatest Old Testament prophet ever, John the Baptist, locked up. He could call on him 24/7, but he had John executed – beheaded. Worse yet, he later had standing before him God incarnate, the Creator of the universe in human form: Jesus Christ himself. But Herod just wanted Jesus to do a trick. Herod could have poured out his heart, confessed his sins, found forgiveness and a clear conscience. But he did not.
We read in Luke 23:11 that Herod, showing his true colours, “treated [Jesus] with contempt and mocked Him, arrayed Him in a gorgeous robe, and sent Him back to Pilate.” Herod rejected Christ for fear for his reputation and his throne. And Christ rejected Herod, because Herod had gone beyond the point of no return. Jesus, being God, could see Herod’s heart. He could see it was futile. The irony is that Herod seemed to fear everyone and everything else. Yet because of his lack of fear of God, Herod damned his soul forever. It was a case of a dead conscience.
How does this happen? How do you kill a conscience? You do it a little bit at a time. You know something is wrong. Your conscience is troubling you, and you are trying to disable it. You’re thinking, “How do I shut this thing up?” How do I silence this? Where is the mute button? I don’t want to hear it any more.
Then as time passes, your conscience gets more and more quiet. It stops speaking to you. Eventually, it becomes mute and dies. At this point, the person is in danger of eternal destruction.
Prayer: Ask the Lord to take away your heart of stone and give you a repentant heart.
